Eight Days to Pitchers & Catchers

I've clearly got baseball on my mind. I was preparing a handout for an upcoming presentation, and I listed the author of Frindle as Matt Clement (Red Sox pitcher) instead of Andrew Clements (the actual author). Eagle-eye Dan spotted the error before I made any copies.

Based upon his second half performance last year, maybe Matt should try his hand at writng.
... and we could pay Roger 20 mil to pitch one year for the old town team.

On a different note. Nascar: Daytona 500/Sunday, Feb 19th. Kyle Petty raced under the Wells Fargo sponsor (also did a coke commercial with the WF logo on his racing suite). Too bad he was in the wrong place on the maybe 97 round and because of another car out of control, he was smashed into and put out of that race. He does have another car to race but under the Cherrios sponsor.

"In Sunday's Daytona 500, Petty was caught in the aftermath of a multi-car wreck at the 200-mile mark that sent the No. 45 Wells Fargo Dodge to the garage for extensive repairs. He returned to complete the race but was saddled with a 39 th -place finish."
